12 Labours of Herc III: Girl Powaa is the follow-up to the game about the loafer Hercules, his faithful babe, and their slaves. There are practically no gameplay changes contrast to the first two installments, save for the actuality that Hercules' precious has learned to grow fruit-bearing shrubs from saplings. The protagonist is now a sheila rather than a bloke, nonetheless the level count resides at 45 the same as in the previous predecessors. The cutscenes are just as difficult to follow, as they continue to rely on rhyming conversation. The graphics are good, as expected, and the orchestral harmonious style continues to be consistent. Although, the game feels a bit more difficult; this version presents levels that become unsolvable if the incorrect method is taken. Also absent are the boss levels with their quirky ultimatums. While earning the achievements takes some time, it isn't an excessive quantity. All in all, it is essentially a continuation to the second game, just with a woman lead and, in my perspective, not entirely as successful. 👍Strengths. +Gameplay remains very straightforward and instinctive. As with the first game in this series it is somewhat interesting, but gets stale... In my opinion these games could have focused a bit more on quality and less on quantity, not horrible games, but it did feel a bit tiresome as you keep going level after level just to complete all the things.

I've played a lot of time management games over the years. All of the games from 1 to 8 in this series are my favorites. I revisit them all at least once a year. It's great that they give you the option to play 3 different types of difficulty, so if you just want a relaxed playthrough, you can do that. It's strange that the price went up so high with the following games. Maybe they are under new management? Anyway, if the price for the newer games ever gets low enough I'll give one or more of them a try. I just hope they play as well as the games I already have.
