Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator

It's a fine simulation game. Thee are mot many points where you wish for more, it's pretty straight forward with a decent amount of interaction. You sometime have to decide, maybe take a risk and see how it goes, which is a good thing. There is a good balance of mechanics to keep someone from exploiting, but not so much that you cannot try different approaches. I started winery intending to make cheap wine, Knight Train and Thunderous Bird (IYKYK), was able to build out, make it on a bit even if not ideal, then eventually switched my strategy and started selling my stuff to to the upper crust, Nice. Not a game for everyone, decent management sim, balanced, you can tell they thought through the system.

The game is boring and the main character is annoying

A captivating (even meditative to some extent) game about winemaking. Essentially, it’s a card game with basic economic elements where you need to read notes from time to time and play your cards on the board at the right time and in the right way. And try again, and again, and again. You’ll make many attempts to find the perfect balance for each wine. Body, tannins, acidity, and sugar—these are the things that will constantly be on your mind. The fun really begins if you miss the harvest window and need to adjust the wine to reach the desired quality. Maybe add some bacteria? Or age it in barrels? Or perhaps bottle it right away and let it age in the bottles? Haven’t played the expansion yet as I wanna unlock the remaining achievements (currently 24/31) in the main game. The story here’s a filler, and you don’t really pay much attention to it. Guess a sequel (if it ever happens) would be justified with the addition of more regions (worldwide probably?) and deeper exploration of winemaking mechanics and grape varieties. Probably add some kind of a timeline where you start a family winery as making wines in 2070 in game looks awkward. Also add machines, techs and processes pa…

this would only really be enjoyed by those who are already in the wine business.

I've enjoyed playing this game a lot - many, many hours and still I find it the perfect game to chill out and play different strategies on free play or challenge modes. Added bonus that it's ideal for gaming on long flights or train rides since you don't need wifi to play. It's taught me some cool things about wine production along the way, but you don't need to be a wine nerd to do well at this game. The storyline teaches you all you need to know, and to really up-skill you can read more in online guides and forums where there's solid a community of players with useful tips and tricks. I wish there were further add-ons or regions added to the game, I'd happily pay more for new challenges and difference grapes/regions to explore. Doubtful that will ever happen, but food for thought to the game devs ;) In summary - if you like strategy games, chill vibes, and maybe you fancy wine... I highly recommend this game and think it's worth a try if that sounds at all interesting to you. Cheers!

I'm unconvinced this pointless garbage can be called a game. Audio is trash, "gameplay" is worse; place a block in a grid, then click end turn 2 or 3 times and let those 2 or 3 days go by. Then one useless step happens but several rude & annoying NPCs babble ceaselessly at you for a while to waste your time and tell you nothing meaningful. This is at best, a grueling exercise rather than a game. Avoid this - requested refund since it's really not even a game.
