Inbento is a really cute little game about putting together bento boxes and solving some tiny puzzles. The puzzles are easy as pie, all very simple and relaxed, although every now and then one or two will make you think for a little bit. Nothing too serious, though; it’s a very gentle experience. Even so, it manages to keep you entertained for a while, and it’s the kind of game that’s great when you have a few minutes to spare and want to pass the time without having to fry your brain. Cute, simple, and just plain pleasant to play. Also, for the “Family Portrait” achievement, there’s a level that appears at the very end of the credits.

Liked it, but the difficulty spike around level 11 caught me off guard

I quite enjoyed this game, some levels were easy, especially the first ones, but the difficulty also kind of "resets" so to speak at some point because of the story which was a nice change of pace. It basically goes from easy to hard then back to easy and hard again. Because of that, I personally did not feel much repetitiveness set in. Some levels are actually very challenging and since I generally suck at puzzles I had to search some solutions up because I was trying everything I could think of, but still wasn't able to solve them. Despite my struggles, I still very much consider the levels' difficulty to be fair. Also, there are oftentimes hints as to what you need to do in order to solve the level (like if you got 1 green block on the food, 1 on the table, and the solution includes 2 green blocks then you know you must have those blocks show and not hide them with others, you also know where you must place them). The story was alright for me, I'm more into fantasy and not really into "regular real life" stories so there's that, but the memories you unlock are very nicely drawn, and overall the whole artstyle of the game is minimalistic and very beautiful. cute lil puzzle game where you unlock wholesome cat arts as you solve each world by creating bento boxes, nothing too crazy, just right amount of both chill and challenge, perfect for a weekend at granma's or when the babe dozes off after coming back from dinner would recommend
