About Donut County
You control an ever-growing hole that swallows up trash and objects to solve puzzles and progress through a quirky story about raccoons wreaking havoc on Donut County. It's a charming physics puzzler with creative object combinations, environmental exploration, and absurdist humor that rewards both puzzle-solving and wanton destruction.

Where Trash is Treasure
Raccoons have taken over Donut County with remote-controlled trash-stealing holes. You play as BK, a hole-driving raccoon who swallows up his friends and their homes to earn idiotic prizes.
When BK falls into one of his own holes, he’s confronted by his best friend Mira and the residents of Donut County, who are all stuck 999 feet underground… and they demand answers!

The Hole Keeps Growing
• EXPLORE every character’s home, each with their own unique environment.
• MOVE the hole to swallow up their stuff, growing bigger each time.
• COMBINE objects inside for crazy effects: cook soup, breed bunnies, launch fireworks, and more.
• CATAPULT things back out of the hole. You can use it to solve puzzles...or just destroy stuff.
• DEVOUR everything. The hole won’t stop until the whole county is all gone.
Donut County was created by Ben Esposito, designer on What Remains of Edith Finch and The Unfinished Swan. It is the result of six years of solo development, dozens of donuts (for research), and one fateful encounter with a raccoon.
What Steam players say

I'm not really sure why Donut County received so much praise. At its core, it's a fairly mediocre game built around a familiar concept: controlling a hole that grows larger as it swallows everything in its path. The story is also a bit confusing at first, but as you progress, things gradually start to make sense, and I did get a couple of genuine laughs out of it. I can't wholeheartedly recommend it, but I can't NOT recommend it either. If you can grab it for just a couple of bucks, it's worth checking out for a short, lighthearted experience.1 found this helpful

BK the goat
Short fun game
The game has a lovely style and funny humor, the quirky cast of animals were charming as well. I’m a bit disappointed at how linear and easy the puzzles were despite the fun game mechanic of using the holes.
