Farlands

​I bought this game back when it was in early access, but I didn't play it until they "finished it". ​I say "finished it" because you can't look me in the eyes and tell me this is the final product. ​I know it's a small team, and I actually had really low expectations, but they didn't even meet those expectations. ​The items in the game lack descriptions; most of the time you have to guess what they do. There are virtually no missions and no progression. You are just there thinking, "What am I supposed to do next?"

Farlands looks really nice, and the soundtrack is honestly one of the best parts of the game. But beyond that, it still feels pretty unpolished. There’s barely any interaction, progression feels almost nonexistent, and the characters have very little depth. It has a lot of potential, but right now it feels more like a good-looking foundation than a finished game. I wouldn’t recommend paying full price for it at the moment. I’d wait for some updates and more content.

I enjoyed what I played of this game(about 7 hours), enjoyed the theme and so on...however there is a lot I didn't. Its a future theme however the only tech you get to help on your farm are sprinklers? No bots to help harvest, to feed animals(which there are only 3 types of) or to collect there products. Because of this you can only be away from your planet for 1 night or your animals don't get fed, this doesn't work with the travelling system that takes time to go to other planets when the objective is to mine/fish/catch bugs in other places, meaning you have to keep coming back and unable to focus on this. If this has been brought out 10 years ago it would be ok, but there are just too many games that do it better and are more in depth. Pros: Great theme Great basics Potential if updated Cons: No depth(only 3 barn animals etc) No tech to match its theme(Sprinklers, thats it..) Friend making is weird(70% talk, get angry if fail) Travel(takes time to travel which is fine but you cant be away from your farm for more than 1 night if you have animals due to the lack of tech/automation) Very little explanations/tutorials(I have the evil guys head on the planet map on my planet but …

CAREFUL Character Creator doesnt have "Male or Female" just non descriptive option The Game has forced They/Them Pronouns goes out of its way to have no combat, even thou there is a Blacksmith who makes swords and has Veganism dont give Money to People who hate you.

If you come into this game expecting something as huge and life consuming as stardew, you'll be disappointed. If you come expecting a bit of fun in the harvest moon genre with some unique takes, you'll have a good time imo. I haven't seen all the content, but I completed the main story and its a bit of fun.

Es un juego chiquito, por momentos siento que le falta, pero el que sea chico y rapido tambien hace que pasarselo completo no sea tortuoso y nunca dejas de avanzar, Algunas partes son medio obtusas pero en general, me parece una experiencia redonda.
