I really want to like this game, but it made me uninstall it several times. The core game is a constant run towards failure unless you're a strategist and you know what's gonna happen and prepare for it. You want more powerful robot? You end up spending more and more fuel and capacity (capacity is needed to power up and mod the robot and you unlock it slowly for every mission you complete). Every crafter machinery in the game is ridiculously slow for the amount of materials you need in the game (up to 3 minutes for a SINGLE ingot). So you might want to put more machinery of the same type...BUT this requires energy for the most advanced ones. And what do you think energy is gained? With fuel consumption. The same fuel that makes your robot move. And the best fuel gives around 5 minutes of energy in a game where you want energy constantly and fuel of that type crafts in 1 to 2 minutes at a time. And, for some reason, machinery consumes fuel even when not in use...they only need to exist in the farm to consume more fuel. So yeah, if you like to take these kind of games EXTREMELY slowly, then no problem. Ah, wait...you have to water each field by hand up to the 8th milestone (that y…

From the screenshot and video, it looks like you are building a lot of automation, but inreality it takes a very long time of manually farming to unlock them

This was a tough one for me. A game where you can ride around in a transforming mech, exploring an alien planet, farming and crafting sounds amazing. On the other hand this game is a grind, a horrible, horrible grind. From the massive mission requirements to any automation mechanics coming much later in the game. Add to this that the map, while large, feels mostly empty. If you are looking for a slow, grindy game where you can play in a mech I think you could enjoy this game. If you are looking for a farming sim, a satisfactory style game, or a mech adventure game I think you might be disappointed. So since I haven't gotten myself to the end crafting and automation yet I will still recommend this with a big condition that you need to understand just how grindy this game can be.

To put simply this game is just boring. Resources are spread way apart, you have limited capabilities to carry things, no meaningful fast travel, and it seems like the game really is just about farming which takes grinding. I am sure at some point you get the right mech upgrades to make moving faster, but as much as I wanted to like this game I just got super bored and felt like everything was just a chore. They could salvage the game by fixing a few things but we shall see.

Honestly, feels like a pretty solid game. However, there is a lack of pressure, although I suppose that is the point of a cozy game. However the pressure doesn't seem to exist in this game, where in stardew valley, it does. That being said, I do wish they'd include areas of combat, we are in giant mechs after all. Having to defend your farm and livestock from marauding bugs and threats would be great. Could even be a raid style event where you could have it disabled, or even reduced to an extremely small attack so that you can satisfy multiple player bases. Until something like this occurs, I will have to shelve this game.
