I'd say... It's okayish. This is a VM and not much more than that. Very few choices that change the plot very little, if any. The graphics are fine. The music is repetitive. The plot is run‑of‑the‑mill anime‑style fantasy, with all the clichés. No bugs or crashes. Overall, a little tale you’ve probably seen many times before. It’s entertaining, but it drags by abusing text to stretch the runtime. Not really an adult game—just suggestive images that never go beyond what’s on the store page. It throws in cards, has decent Japanese voice acting, and can be funny at times, though never thrilling. If that’s your cup of tea, have some.

Sakura Angels is pretty underwhelming, even for a light ecchi romp. Having played “Sakura Beach,” I wasn’t expecting much, but the more ambitious plot really causes this game to collapse under its own weight. Comparing the two games really illustrates the problems with Sakura Angels. A beach vacation is intimate; you wouldn’t notice or care if there was nothing going on in the background, and drifting from activity to activity feels completely natural. In an urban magical girl rom com, you notice the empty streets, empty classroom, and empty cafeteria. It feels so uncanny. Meanwhile, the plot has to juggle activity scenes and fight scenes, which already feel spread thin competing for time, but then there’s also boring exposition, repetitive inner monologues and empty dialogues querying and explaining the excuse plot. It’s not the worst. Some of the CGs have good composition or dynamism. Love the one where the angels have fallen over each other in the middle of a fight. Unfortunately, the novel itself is just too unfocused to be as enjoyable as it should be as an ecchi that costs money.
