This game is basically a button app that says, "Is that your face, or did your neck throw up?" I don't really want to recommend it. It's goofy, it's clunky, it's easy to override your orders and ruin everything. It looks like a PSX game got hit in the face with a shovel. The characters repeat the same lines over, and over, and over again. A lot of them also have abysmal or infuriating voice acting. The difficulty spikes are ridiculous. Click detection is poor at best for many skills. Everything draws either way too much, or way too little threat. It's fiddly, janky, and irritating. It gets unfairly hard, unfairly quickly. Every time I see this game in my library I say, "Wait, what the hell is 'Kingdom Elemental'? I've obviously played it before, but I can't remember it at all." And then I boot it up to check. And I play for a solid stint. And I have quite a lot of fun. This game is a perfect train wreck.

https://youtu.be/ReK3jYChj7U Only few actions require any player input due to the majority of the game simply playing out scenarios by itself. The age of the title does it no favors either for it's limited UX and QOL options.

Kingdom Elemental doesn't launch under the latest versions of Windows 10 with an "unable to create 3D scene" error. Because the game cannot be played, I cannot recommend it.

Never left a review on this after all these years. By todays standards yes it's old, but to me it's a classic I've gone back to time to time. I was a developer who created a few things in the B3D community, that's how I knew about this back then, always have loved it.

The world's slowest tug-of-war style game to the point where it's almost an auto-battler. The comedy element faded from the game almost instantly.
