Deputy Dangle

This game is a buggy mess, and not in the fun way like having crabs. The camera felt like a Micheal J Fox simulator, and made me want to run towards the nearest living thing and attack it. The cut scenes are unskippable and can drag on pointlessly. There were times that it felt like I was watching someone else play, because of the set pieces where my limp, lifeless body just slid around for excessive amounts of time. This game would swing from pointlessly easy tasks to challenging sections that made me consider taking up drugs. All in all, I completed it out of sheer stubborness, and rage. I give this two and a half disabled people out of ten.

The best way I could describe this game briefly would be that it's a thrift store version of Octodad Dadliest Catch. It's cheaper, and a bit rougher around the edges, but it's still not a bad game necessarily. While I'd struggle to call it a great game, it's definitely a fun waste of time that's fairly brief and can be quite humorous at times. I like the wacky and cartoony aesthetic of the world this game takes place in (although some assets and characters look a little out of place thematically), and the characters are serviceable. Really the only thing I really hate about the game is the soundtrack. There's about 2-3 pieces of background music that you'll hear play on loop for about 90% of the game. Besides that, I'd call this game ok. It's not fantastic but it's not bad either.

pretty good game. Nice gameplay and pretty easy to learn. Probably easier with a controller.
