Play Eschatos. Finally got my normal all clear, the game owns. Really nice pacing, the shield mechanic is elegantly designed, the difficulty on normal is a good challenge for shmup newbies like myself, and the soundtrack is absolutely unskippable. Can't recommend this enough. Play Eschatos.

I forget how I ended up with this one. It's kind of ugly in my opinion, and not having proper fullscreen and being limited to just the center area only contributes further to how unattractive I find it. Your ship has a short range, forcing you into melee range a lot which is.. a choice I guess. Could tell early on that I didn't care for this one.

I find this game to be such a vibe, and I even like the graphics which are both boring but somehow really interesting. It's also a nice break from bullet hell shooters with a more memorization based pathing and patterns. It also has a top tier soundtrack.

I have tried very hard to enjoy this game.

this is so much fun! It feels like you are in the movie Independence Day. There is so much going on in the background you have to remember that you are fighting ships in the foreground. It tells a whole story, and the levels happen seamless besides a split second Loading

It's good.
