A.I. Space Corps

Made by creators of [url=http://steamcommunity.com/id/emoKittenCZ/recommended/386540]A.I. Invasion[/url]. Not recommended to anyone. This is almost the same game like A.I. Invasion. The only difference is that you are not a man fighting against robots with your squad, but you control a space ship (one of three similar ships varying in speed 120/100/90% and HP 1000/1500/2000) fighting against another ships. You play alone (not with companions like in A.I. Invasion). The controls are so bad that it doesnt fit universe environment. If you hold W, you are moving to the north. If you are holding W+A, you are moving northwest. If you press the key up, you are standing still at the moment. Devs didn't use any kind of vector, you cannot use your mouse heading for moving. Nothing. This makes the game so much arcade that it discourage you to play it. And if it doesn't, the fact, that after playing one minute long mission you have played about 17 % of campaign, will do. Asteroids flew on different layouts, but since this is top down view game, you dont know, which one will damage you and which will just fly through. Unless you aim each of them to show reticle. Possibly the most boring top down shooter I've ever played. There are three players ships that all nearly look identical, the weapons are uninspired, and the objectives are go here, survive, then go here. I returned to this game in an effort to give it one hour of gameplay. It is still very boring, repetitive, and pointless. The only good thing in this back is the background. I also remember that I did not say that there is a bug when starting a level where you cannot move. You will need to exit the level and restart it to regain movement. I absolutely do not recommend this game. Pros: Great looking backgrounds. Cons: Repetitive Music LackLuster Level Design Lack Luster Ship Design Do you get one Hour of gameplay per $6 paid?: Yes. Game is cheap, you will at least get an hour out of it. Ease of 100%: Very Easy, No achievements (100% Being all achievements, Unlocks, Upgrades, Ect.)

[h1]A game that's got it all![/h1] Got it all [b]wrong[/b], though. Gameplay? Two types of weapons, clunky specials, no impact on shooting, brain-dead AI. Graphics? Stock. No shadows, too. Music? Repetitive [i]FL Studio[/i] five seconds electronic loops. Agonising. Physics? Why would you need it? Story? Well, some crew dudes have their textboxes popping up sporadically where they mumble incoherently. UX? Abysmal. To go to the next level, you have to exit to the main menu, and if you retry the failed mission from the failure dialog, the movement won't work and you still have to go and restart it from the main menu. Bugs? Yeah, that's where this game excels: missions are failing spontaneously for no reason at all, the ship goes through all sorts of solid materials whenever it feels like it, and you don't even have to beat the levels to progress further - if you exit to the main menu when you are defeated, the next mission just appears on the list. Verdict: c'mon, do u really need a verdict?

Reviewed live on The One Review over at twitch.tv/runew0lf What can i say about this game, the graphics are ok(ish) the sound is horrid and is on a 5 second repeating loop. (if that) it bugs out if you fail a mission and you have to completely come out and restart as the restart option fails. Its like a my first shoot em up written by a group of kids with no limbs. Save yourself the 4 quid, go buy yourself a mcdonalds. I would rather stream me peeling carrots for an hour than play this tosh again.

Lacks depth

The store page lists controller support, but players report the fire/shoot button simply doesn't work with an Xbox 360 controller, forcing awkward remapping workarounds that make the game barely playable with a gamepad — not exactly what "controller support" should mean. On top of that, there are reports of the game crashing the Steam Bootstrapper or File Explorer entirely just trying to launch it, depending on how it's started. For a top-down space shooter that leans on precise, responsive controls for dogfighting, both a fundamentally broken control input and launch stability issues are basic problems that should be resolved before anything else. Fixing controller button mapping and the launch crashes would make this playable for the audience the store page is already promising it to.
