Very short and fun visual novel that I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did. about a singer who has seen better days but goes on a trip to Bali to take a quick job there and have some fun along the way. While the main character is the very opposite of me in the way he interacts with other girls and flirts, I must say that I found him to be just a normal nice (and horny) guy. Besides the H scenes, which were pretty short and meh (the volcano thing was hilarious), the way he gets to meet most of the girls by exploring each other's past, dreams, and ambitions was not something I expected, and a longer exposure to each of them would have enriched the story a lot, since they did not gave me that simple NPC one could expect at first from the looks of this VN. I also really liked Elaine and the relationship both characters had, finishing the novel with them showing a very endearing moment of appreciation for each other. The soundtrack is fine, and the art is surprisingly good, whith very cute sprites of the girls and really beautiful backgrounds to accompany the story. The UI however was not of my liking. I would recommend it if you want to play a fun VN less than an hour long w…

Do you wanna be a king? Well, too bad, Elvis already took the title, so don't expect that. Who can you really be after playing this game? I'm somewhat of an enthusiast of low-budget VNs, hoping to find a diamond in the rough. I start as an open-minded optimist, assuming that maybe there is enough quality, or at least enough traces of effort, inside every product I engage with. However, sometimes, no matter how much I dig, I can't uncover any redeeming quality. So, what do we have here? Firstly, there is very little in terms of story here. Bland and brief story setting and character introduction, not allowing the reader to form any connection or care for the protagonist. Maybe it was intentional to create an unlikeable, washed, one-hit-wonder that we play as. He is defined more by his incessant need for validation and skin color than by his actions. It was a sad spectacle to observe. Secondly, there is an unconvincing nanpa and throwaway heroines. All events are rushed and repetitive, devoid of realism or development. I have yet to meet people acting in a similar fashion to the one presented here. Maybe I just lack experience of visiting cheap bars at popular tourist destinations,…

I mean, it's far from the worst thing I've played, but meh. I don't remember what I paid, it was probably less than a dollar. IF you are going to pick it up, I suggest you do the same and wait for a discount. I stopped playing after the second encounter. I may come back to it someday, but not likely. Again, it's not the worst, I'm sure it's great for someone. But that someone is not me and probably not most people. There could have been a decent game here. If it wasn't so cheap, I'd probably be irritated. As is, meh.
