A flawed but visually pleasing Qix'er. A number of ingredients from the original Qix are not found here. You could call it a "watered-down" Qix. It is pretty to look at. Nice particle block effects. It is enjoyable to play, but it will make the Qix purists long for the missing features of the original. There are no fast and slow draw buttons for that risk v. reward approach. There are no buttons at all; just move the stick to draw. And don't worry about taking your time, nothing will trace your draw line to zap you. There seems to be an inconsistency in determining when a territory becomes completed. Sometimes a completed area gets claimed (converted to particle bocks), other times nothing happens. It's Qix, but watered-down. Pros: + Pleasant visuals, esp. if you like bubbles and glowey retro visuals. + Fun enough to play + Inexpensive Cons: - Inconsistent territory claiming - If you enjoyed the original Qix, you will wish a number of it's features were in this game to add depth to the gameplay1 found this helpful
It's a Qix clone, it has good music, a variety of enemies, challenging levels, it's neon and responsive. What else do you want? From a Qix clone I mean... Full prize ok. Sale YEAH! Follow my curator at https://store.steampowered.com/curator/28337205-Fair-Minded-Witness/1 found this helpful
I actually like it. I think the controls could be improved, maybe have a cursor that shows where my pointer is so it's a little easier to follow. Fun little game though.
Qix style game. Not complicated. Good game for when you want to take a break and just play something for 20 minutes or a few hours. I enjoyed it.
Good stuff, a nice puzzle game that is a nice mix of challenging but overcome with skill instead of just feeling random. Different enemies all require unique ways of approaching them. Gifted the game by the dev to try out, but I had no problems sticking with it long enough to 100%, which is saying a lot with my library of hundreds of dropped games. Worth a pickup if you like these kinds of games
Plox Neon is a ripoff of Qix from the 1980's, but with bright garish neon art. The game doesn't add anything to the original formula worth noting. These kinds of games can be played for free in a web browser, so I can't recommend anyone pays for this.
