Clocker

Clocker is a time manipulating puzzle game that is often compared to Braid. However, it’s also a bit different. Braid gives you puzzle rooms with little context, you’re only supposed to figure out how to get the puzzle pieces. With Clocker, you are observing a town with NPC living their lives. You’re given context based on what the NPC are doing/saying and the situations they’re in. Often times you know what you’re supposed to do but you need to experiment in such a way to get the desired outcome. I find this way of using time manipulation better and more intuitive but the developer fumbles with executing some elements. Clocker also has a story that is presented more clearly and is shown through simple cutscenes instead of most of it written in text. There are 3 chapters, one is of medium length that is the tutorial, the second is the meat of the game with most of the content playing out in a town and chapter 3 is a short chapter focused on ending the game in one of the two endings based on what you did previously. Really fun puzzle game. Didn't play for much yet, but I will be returning! I love the burglar puzzle -- for sure! Sad to see it's so underrated as the style is pretty unique and the game quite puzzling at times!

Story-wise was great but felt very 'half-baked' in the end
