This Strange Realm Of Mine

The ending really stuck with me. It wrapped everything up in a meaningful way and gave the whole journey a deeper purpose. Definitely worth experiencing.

Don't get fooled by the action and music in the trailer. It HAS shooter elements, but at it's core it is a psychological travel through the mind. Surprisingly lots of (neglect-able) dialogue. which may or may not make sense.

This game feels like hanging out with a friend that has theories. You know, that one friend that has theories. About universe, meaning of life, God, all that big stuff. He figured it out. He hasn't read any advanced philosophy books or quantum physics he's always ranting about, but it dosn't matter because he's just a dude. This game is a glimpse into this dude's inner world. For this reason it doesn't feel spectacular in any way, it feels like a rather personal project. You can see author's own thoughts and personality shining through every character and none of them feel like their own character, but it is the whole (personal) purpose of the game I imagine, and it even works setting-wise [spoiler](they're all in the head of one person after all)[/spoiler], which creates a satisfying continuity between this flaw and game's inherent design. It cares less about being a polished performance and allows itself to be whatever author wants. If you forget about objective measures of quality and see it in this light, it's pretty cool. I enjoyed it.

the story is crazy. gameplay is fine and music if good. Completed one playthrough.

Great game; simple design yet deeply rich in its fleshed out introspective nature. It asks questions and shares thoughts that you may have had once, or fears and struggles you may yet to come across. I don't see a lot of replayability, but that's okay because it was a satisfying game w. mouse and keyboard. Gun/fighting gameplay is fun, so are some of the quirky design choices and one of the scenarios even had me scared and made me realize something about myself.. the world needs more cats.

A work of art, an amazing piece of writing. Idea: An update showcasing the present and what happens next when you choose verdict and life, E.g. in the game you meet people which represent pieces of your personality and your regrets. You face them and their challenges, you can pick up these people once you finish, regaining your personality and fixing your regrets when your alive. SO if you choose life at the end of the game you would experiance all your problems either you solve them or you fail them once again and k*ll yourself repeating the game by bringing you back to your strange realm.....
