Dual Snake

Dual Snake is a really simple puzzle game at first glance, but controlling a two headed snake makes the basic idea much more interesting than I expected. I am controlling both heads at the same time and trying to make my way through an underground world and eventually reach the surface. There is no dialogue or complicated story getting in the way, so most of what I learn comes from actually playing. I like that because the game gets straight to its main idea and lets me work things out for myself. The two heads are what make the puzzles work. I have to think about where both sides of the snake are going instead of only worrying about one character. I can climb walls, open doors, push blocks and manipulate gravity, so the levels gradually give me more things to consider. Some puzzles are simple enough that I can work them out quickly, while others make me stop and think about how one head can affect the position of the other. I like that the controls are easy to understand even when the puzzles themselves start getting more complicated. There is a good amount of content here too. Some of the Achievements are server-side, and despite of the offline nature of the game, some of the Achievements are stuck in the server and won't unlock, even if you accomplish the requirements.

Концепция управления сразу двумя змейками одновременно добавляет игре совершенно новый уровень сложности и стратегического планирования. Визуальное оформление простое, но приятное глазу, а динамичная музыка отлично поддерживает темп игры. Управление отзывчивое, хотя иногда, в самых напряжённых моментах, требуется немного больше точности. Мне понравилось разнообразие режимов, от классического до более безумных, с разными препятствиями и бонусами. Это действительно спасает игру от монотонности. Тем не менее, освоение игры требует некоторого терпения. Кривая обучения может быть довольно крутой, и первые несколько попыток, скорее всего, закончатся быстрым проигрышем. Но поверьте, оно того стоит. "Dual Snake" - это отличный способ проверить свою координацию и реакцию, а также просто весело провести время. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет нетривиальную головоломку, которая бросит вызов вашему мозгу!
