Gray Matter

It had a decent story but had very painful lag throughout

Gray Matter is a point and click adventure game 2014. You collect items, you combine them with environment to solve a mystery. Nothing different here. ++Story / Setting: Most important part of these genre, what makes us hold onto game, is good. At least for me the player's characters are likeable, relatable and have good voice over. Anything more would be a spoiler. +Gameplay: One point to click, double to run thing not always works, sometimes you have to hold mouse, some item interactions take a long time, UI could have been better. +Technical: Played windowed 1920-1080p no problem. I would expected instant loading times from a game this old but it still takes some seconds. No crashes etc. I took my time trying to click everything and finished in 10 hours like, good if you like the genre.

Really good game. The graphics, the music, the dialogues and the puzzles are all amazing, even though the culprit is somewhat predictable. Really enjoyed. I highly reccommend it. Also, it’s perfectly playable on the steamdeck. Edit: I played the game without connection and steam did not record the hours correctly. Aprox 12h to finish the game.

Amazing game with well-written characters and beautiful graphics, storyline is wonderful too! Worth the price!

Gray Matter is an old school point & click adeventure. The puzzles are good designed, not too simple but also not too difficult. They hit a nice sweet spot. The plot is also very interesting, engaging and sometimes a little bit creepy. Give it a try. I can fully recommend to play Gray Matter
