About Pixel Maze
The game was made entirely out of spare time. It was the first game I made independently. It took me about half a year from start to finish. The progress was slow because of full-time work. I hope that the friends who like this kind of game can support me more and let me continue to do it.
Pixel Maze is not a simple coloring game. The game is quite difficult. The game fills the color with digital hints. All the numbers are interlocked. Every step must be patiently calculated to finally break the maze. If you like puzzle games, want to challenge and have a lot of time, try Pixel Maze!
·Each number represents the number of grids to be filled in the surrounding 9 grids (including itself), and the color of the number is the color to be filled by the grid. When the number of fills meets the numerical requirements, a black dot appears on the upper right of the number, and the level is successful after all the numbers meet the requirements.
· The tools on the right side of the game can help you quickly find numbers that don't meet your requirements, zoom in, zoom out, and directly decrypt 9 squares. Click the color swatch on the right to switch colors, or click the selected color again to change the current color.
· All the numbers in the game are interlocked, and every step must be patiently calculated. All the labyrinths can be solved by guessing! Don't guess! ,
· Each labyrinth of the game has a theme, with a variety of rich themes such as classic games, movies, and TV shows to see how much you can recognize.
· There are more than 200 levels, the size is increased from small to large, I hope to bring you a quiet time.

2024 edit: price went from $1 to $4 in october 2023, years after the game came out, but still no patches or fixes. despicable. a very difficult fill-a-pix puzzler with color images. you get a blank canvas with a bunch of numbers and a 3x3 cursor, and you have to figure out which square gets which color. the result is a picture and a sense of accomplishment, as guessing is not necessary. 216 levels from 8x8 to 59x59, no timer, no ratings, zoom in/out, and it used to be unbelievably cheap even at full price until 2023, but that's all there was on the positive side, with several things outweighing it on the negative, unfortunately. first of all, the game starts up in chinese, have to change it in the settings (unless you know chinese, of course), where you can't find any volume sliders, just on/off for music and sound, but since it was made in unity and the launcher is enabled, resolution options and windowed mode are available on startup. there are a lot of typos, and it's got nothing to do with not being a native speaker, it just reeks of laziness when there are no spaces where they should be and half the level names start with capital letters while the rest don't. Flipped my review after further playing. The underlying mechanic (basically fill-a-pix) is great, a step-by-step pure logic puzzler with lots of pretty colors. The interface, however, is a mess. The English translation desperately need a thorough edit; the color palette behaves in lots of odd and non-intuitive ways; it's far too linear; and the level save is not only clunky, but eats saves. I desperately wanted to make it work, as I love the mechanic and there's very few similar games on Steam, but after struggling to get through a bottleneck and then having two level saves eaten simultaneously, I give up. Runs great on Steamplay (Mint 18.2, Nvidia proprietary), which is only good thing I can say about it and most of that credit goes to Unity3d.6 found this helpful
There's an absolutely massive amount of content for $1. If you're a fan of minesweeper/nonograms or similar logic-based puzzles then this is a great title to pick up. There seems to be a save bug where if you save a puzzle, close the game, open it, and load the puzzle, then you won't be able to save the puzzle again properly. So you either finish it in the second session or lose your progress. The other reviews here seem to see that as a deal-breaker, but it's really not that hard to just finish a puzzle within two play sessions...It would be really nice if the developer had fixed it some time over the past year though. I've almost finished the game and have yet to see any other bugs related to the saves or anything else. The UI is smooth and responsive, and I haven't had any issues with it either.2 found this helpful
Amazing pixel mosaic pictures !!! If you are a mosaic fan then this will challenge even a hardened player. I have completed the whole game and it took me ages ( and I've been doing mosaic puzzles for a very long time!). The completed pictures are beautiful. You have handy zoom and move around functions. You can change the colours that you are working with to something that you can see easily and that doesn't hurt your eyes...the original colours return once you have completed the picture. they become pretty large and I suggest that you go slowly because mistakes are hard to rectify when you think you have completed the picture correctly. Luckily you have another function that will show you the square of nine that are wrong.....still hard to correct, but I found it do-able, especially as there is another function that gives you a few completed squares of nine if you are stuck (use them wisely as you only get a few of them). I really enjoyed this game, and I'm sure any mosaic lover would too. Go on, push yourself to the limit !!! One last thing; there seems to be a save option but I could not make it work so I had to solve a puzzle in one sitting as it would clear itself if I left t…
