This is a digital board game about truck driving, the US highways, and oatmeal. During your time as a truck driver for the Starkham Oatmeal company, you will be tasked with delivering crates of delicious oats to the local grocery store. The roads are fraught with dangers, as well as delights, so be sure to take along a trusty co-pilot and / or pet.
Arranged as a digital board game, you will encounter a wide variety of characters and obstacles ranging from drug cartels, bike gangs, random maniacs, pop stars, police, serial killers, and the few folk that aren't completely crazy. Make your way around the board and collect your wages every time you complete a delivery then return to the warehouse. Use it to buy spare parts for your truck, the favor of lot lizards, or sometimes bribe your way out of trouble.

When you start a game, each player will get to choose one of eight different drivers; with three locked by default. Each has two strengths and weaknesses, like bonuses to truck ramming checks or penalties to dealing with the law. Mix and match the different drivers with co-pilots and pets to get the upper hand against your opponents.
Just like the drivers, each co-pilot and pet has one different benefit and disadvantage. If you get a bad Incident card draw, you might just accidentally leave 'em at a truck stop somewhere for an opponent to scoop up. If none suit your play style, you can choose to play without one if you want.
Special guest characters (drivers, co-pilots, and pets) can be unlocked through different quests or by doing certain things a bunch.

Old friends from our previous games make surprise appearances. One cannot go through Starkham without seeing familiar faces like Bill Finnigan or Aloysius. They are sometimes found in Encounter or Incident decks. Depending on who you find, they may have a mission for you or an item to barter.
There are a lot of other characters as well. Scattered throughout the Incident, Encounter, and Resource decks various characters await you, either to rob you blind or give you mini-quests to complete. Heck, some might just need something as simple as a ride down the highway a bit or a wee bit of your money.

I waited years to buy this game because my best friend is in it! However, that's not why you should consider this game. If you ever loved playing board games on your computer, this is something that will be a real treat. It has everything you want; there is danger, suspense, and a sense of accomplishment, once you are able to deliver a load of oats to its destination. What's more is this game is perfect for people that love or hate a similar styled board game where you may or may not be able to pass go. This one has a lot going for it, including outrageous scenarios you can find yourself in, happenstance occurrences, and best of all, the game looks great. Like a bright and gritty cartoon made of real people. Keep this one in mind for casual gaming, or to play when you want to laugh and relax, especially if you are looking for something a little bit different.4 found this helpful
ENG: Haulin' Oats is a bizarre adult board game in which we are truck drivers competing to deliver oats. In my opinion, it has two very strong points. One is the huge amount of bizarre possibilities in the game, super-graceful, with things like a coffee enema card, running over a deer, transporting drugs for the cartel, being robbed, and so on. The other highlight is how good it looks, very cool and skilfully drawn. Now for the bad and not so bad. Since almost all of the gameplay is based on dice rolls, it's pure RNG. There is also no local multiplayer / remote play (for now), which, as this is not a cheap game, may make it difficult to find friends willing to buy it (you can play single player against bots, of course). I enjoyed it even in single player mode, so thumbs up for that. I recently purchased 'Haulin' Oats' on Steam and have been thoroughly enjoying it! The game is a lot of fun, both in single player and multiplayer modes. I've played for about 4 hours so far and really like it. The gameplay is engaging and the graphics fit perfectly with the setting. The premise of the game is simple: you're tasked with transporting oats from one location to another, but it's not as easy as it sounds! There are obstacles and challenges along the way that make the game both challenging and exciting (i am looking at you, roadkill! :( ) One of the things I love about this game is the multiplayer mode. It's a lot of fun to compete against other players (currently from my FL) and see who can deliver the most oats in the shortest amount of time. The controls are easy to learn and the gameplay is smooth. There are bugs, but the dev is very active, squashing them bit by bit. Overall, I highly recommend 'Haulin' Oats' to anyone who enjoys casual games that are both challenging and fun. It's definitely worth the purchase!3 found this helpful

Who would have thought that Redneck Monopoly is actually a thing !? Superbly well crafted, great art, groovy music and some dirty ol' jokes for y'all entertainment. If you enjoy virtual board games with a chill vibe, give this one a shot. It's basically for free.1 found this helpful
