What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Real Horror Stories Ultimate Edition has an appealing aesthetic with decent sound design and visuals that some players appreciate, but is hampered by obtuse puzzle design involving random clicking sequences that obscure the horror elements and story progression. Most players feel the core experience doesn't justify the price point, though a few found enough merit in the atmosphere to recommend it if obtained cheaply.
ngl, this should be free.... liked the aesthetic tho (worth it if u want the backgrounds)3 found this helpful

This is the greatest game of all time and requires immense graphics to run
I'd be happy enough to plod through this but having to click random stuff in some random order to progress detracts from the intense scares.
It's not terrible but the cheap price isn't a coincidence..
At first I found this game interesting, but early on it devolved into senseless clicking and the story having no sense. It started on the level with 9 candles where without outside help I would never figure out how to finish it. However, I still liked some of the sounds and images, so I give it a positive review.
