心动满屋 approaches the dating genre as an interactive live-action romance show, putting the player behind the eyes of a male contestant surrounded by six potential partners. Developed by 成都萌创科技有限公司 and published by 杭州身尚贝兼网络科技有限公司, the game focuses almost entirely on conversations, attraction, personal decisions, and the consequences that follow them. Instead of animated characters or traditional visual-novel portraits, real actors perform the scenes, giving the experience the atmosphere of participating in a television dating program rather than simply reading through a romantic story. The six women are designed around noticeably different personalities, which helps prevent the individual routes from feeling interchangeable. Liu Xiyue comes from an artistic background and carries herself with confidence, while Zheng Yan offers a more mature personality through her work as a radio host. Not as high quality as some of the larger budget FMV's, but for $4, this game does the job. The main complaint is that you have multiple saves and then have to start over in a chapter, versus choosing a scene from a branching path like most FMV. But it's super easy to skip through (Q) so I don't lose too much time. There were minor sound issues and some slightly blurry frames, but again, for $4 it's more than worth it. The scenery was beautiful and varied, although the dating simulator part made it a bit boring. Chapter 4 was incredibly long, and there were still 3 other love interests to meet! Definitely a game to play if you're bored - otherwise it might be difficult to enjoy. Even though there weren't English subtitles, I did enjoy the simple story of the game, and the large Chinese subtitles that make it easy for my reading practice. I have my dictionary handy and the pause button (spacebar) at the ready. Maybe I get more out of this game since I'm using it with this learning purpose in mind.

Pros: -plenty of beautiful and sexy women to date -tracking system show the romantic interest of each of the women -$3.99 is a fair price (regular price) if you can read Chinese or you can download the English mod. Cons: -no English sub-titles -the video lags and freezes for me.
