The progression system is utterly broken. I spent 3 hours and never felt like I could go past the 6th room. The upgrades are minimal. The unlocks barely make a difference. After multiple runs, I just give up. It just isn't fun and felt too much of a grind to get anywhere. I never saw a weapon spawn that wasn't just a base weapon in any of my runs. It is too bad as the guns fire well and the hook mechanic works fine. The game just gets too boring as each room is just a slight variation on the last room. The enemies spawn in waves. Once you complete a room on to the next grind. Yawn. There just isn't enough variety or reason to play. I guess there is some sort of story but I could never progress far enough to know what it was. After 3 hours of non-fun, I had enough. This game will go on the trash heap of forgotten games that I wished I never bought.1 found this helpful

so ya know how doom doesn't force alotta story down your throat and instead focuses on the combat. yea this game doesn't do that.
this game is shocking bad tbh, everything feels so mid and everything is very automated. i wish i refunded it when i had the chance. idk what else to say but after the release of stride every joy way game has been boring.
I was really hyped when this game was announced, but sadly it turned out to be very Dissapointing, after playing for a while the game just broke and was unplayable and even reinstalling fixed nothing, i wanted to love this game but in the end i just wasted my Money on it
