Honestly, this is a great biome type desktop companion but it comes with a very troublesome gacha-like randomness on the unlocking mechanism, which can take a long time to unlock everything or get the plant(character) you wish to keep as a companion on the desktop. So if you're the patient type, this app is recommended, if not, you'll probably hate it.

So the cons first, since they might be a dealbreaker for most. The dev has basically abandoned the game. There are many QOL features kind of necessary for the end-game grind, and a few "basic" things that aren't easy to work out without the Discussion group, and the Discussion group is quite inactive because the dev is also inactive. This means if you run across a bug (and there are some still in the game), or wish for some end-game features to make the 'day after day after day for a single achievement' more bearable, you very likely won't get them. I am 136 hours in and about 50 of those hours are literally just getting Flower Coins (you get maybe 1-2 an hour in a screen covered in tiles and you'll need hundreds and hundreds to get the final achievement) and I still probably have another week of this to go. So, if you can afford to park a game that you *still have to look at* (making it not at all an idler) and *actively harvest from* (not an idler, doesn't feel very cozy either at this stage), then do so! I’m using a translator for this review, so please forgive any awkward phrasing! The art style is super cute, and it made my desktop look so vibrant and adorable! Every character is lovely, and I really enjoyed completing the collection book. Grinding for coins was a bit tough midway through, but by the end, I had way too many left over. It would be great if there were more ways to spend them!

The game offers a wonderful experience for fans of casual desktop simulators. Growing mysterious plants directly on the screen provides immense relaxation. Certain flora even take on fascinating human like forms, adding unique charm to the digital garden. Selling fully grown crops generates funds to expand the magical oasis. Designing a personalized layout happens at a comfortable, laid back pace. Running the application as a background companion makes daily work much more enjoyable. The sandbox elements blend perfectly with idle mechanics. A quick warning regarding performance: building massive gardens all over the desktop causes major lags. Going extreme with plant decorations results in severe frame drops. Keeping the digital layout to a reasonable size prevents performance issues and ensures a smooth experience.

Try the Demo, folks ~ if you can figure out how to play it. This app has a skimpy tutorial, and it does not return. Even the excellent guide does not mention how to actually buy more flowers. Stymied. In the bin.

Great game to collect cute plants and design your garden. The demo version is a great way to try the game at first, but the complete game is more convenient with so many more options!!!
