About Viridi
✦ AI summary
Grow and nurture a collection of real-time succulents that require actual care and attention, with the risk of dying if you neglect or overwater them. It's a meditative, low-pressure sanctuary you can leave running in the background and check in on whenever you need a moment of peace, with optional cosmetic plant purchases to expand your collection.
Nurture a small pot of succulents that grow in real time.
Viridi is a safe haven, a place you can return to for a moment of peace and quiet whenever you need it.
Leave Viridi open in a second window to keep you company while you work, or check in on your plants as a meditative moment every night. While not fully realistic (they're very forgiving), your succulents will require some maintenance and can die from over- or under-watering. Name your favorite plants, give them special care and attention, and they might even flower for you.
Viridi is free to try and comes with your choice of plant assortments. If you think it has a place in your life, you can buy your favorite plants from the in-game nursery for just a few cents a piece. Remember to visit the nursery occasionally for the weekly free seeding!

takes too much time, not for me, mechanics aint clear either1 found this helpful
Viridi is a hidden gem. It essentially gives you a punish-free way to grow a pot of plants. Seeds are handed out weekly to add to your starter plant of choice. As a wanna-be green thumb, it gives me the illusion of actually having one, all from the comfort of my chair.
This game has e-sports potential.
This game is relaxing and satisfying. It takes time for your plants to grow; you need to water and weed them daily. I like that there are different colors to the plant types if you don't water a seed immediately after planting. My only gripe about the game is that seeds are not free once a week like the game tells you. I'm not sure how many days it is because it's something I've only noticed in the last month that I started playing again. I was supposed to get a free seed yesterday, and I still can't claim one today. It's happened more than once, but I only started timing it this last week. That's my only complaint. Fun game for plant lovers!
