Lucha Chess

It's an amazing Autobattler!

very good

Choose from a load of lucha libre characters to defeat their foes in the squared circle. Some are stronger, some are weaker, all are worthy in the ring of honour! Even on my potato, this little autobattler runs flawlessly. Recommended

Very fun with lots of variety once characters are unlocked, particularly in the difficulty modifiers that you can pick and choose between.

fun

Really good roguelike, really good auto battler. Riddled with bugs. The game has a tendency to start freezing the longer you have it open on your PC, which doesn't seem to be caused by a memory leak. There are some interesting configurations you can set up. But the balancing is pretty off. Some units, such as the arch angel, are far superior to the rest of the stock. Adding difficulty modifiers can make it borderline impossible to win. I can't imagine, for example, winning with every difficulty modifier enabled given the limitations to talents. Even three seems to make it almost unwinnable depending on which are selected. With none selected, it is a cakewalk even with no talents enabled at all. But in terms of variety, artwork and synergies, this game has a lot to offer. I hope it continues down this path but it definitely needs some work before release.
