This game is worth the $2 sale price just to Anime Girl Fall Flat flop around in the overworld and you even get to drive some cars too. As a Trackmania lover, the slippery, sensitive handling was very much an acquired taste for me, and I went all the way up and down the steering sensitivity scale trying to figure out how to stop my car from snapping back and forth right off the road every 5 seconds. The track design makes learning the game very punishing, as the entire game has as much walls as Rainbow Road and a lot of early levels have a reliance on lining up blind jumps with no markers, which just felt incredibly frustrating. Worlds 3 and 4 however have nicely varied and often technical designs and I found them (especially the "parking garage" in world 3) to be both a lot of fun and much more manageable. Try those if you feel stuck! I managed to get to the finish of 13 out of 15 tracks in 5 hours (for a total of... five stars?) as well as seeing the funny credits and I gotta say, I definitely got at least 50% of an understanding of how to drive, and that improving does feel dang good. [h1][b]sunny-place[/b][/h1] Sunny-place is an odd game. I bought it shortly after its release back in 2021 one night craving a new small game to play as I was bored of the other games in my library. I saw drifting cars and eurobeat-esque music and was sold immediately! It's honestly very hard to really describe what sunny-place is. I think the trailer shows the main selling point of the game pretty well. It's about driving and drifting at hyper speeds around cosmic speedways trying for the fastest time possible. In the interim of these speed challenges you get to walk around a saturated hub world with a floppy character model doing quirky and random quests. And when you want to take it slow, you can buy furniture at certain store in the world and plop it into your own apartment that you can freely decorate. Until you feel the itch to go back out onto the road and dash through space in your drifting supercar. That's sunny-place in a nutshell. For a little less than 7€, I can heartily recommend it if you, like myself, craved something random, cheap, energetic and utterly unique in the best way possible!

Am i still dreaming ? It certainly feels like it. A neat mix of both Trackmania's time trials & Rocket League's aerial physics thrown together to get a weird game at first glance but pretty good when you get used to its physics. It certainly felt like a fever dream...
