About Another Chance
Another Chance is an isometric, story driven experience which pits you in the midst of an alien apocalypse. Split apart from your wife, your only objective is reuniting with her...or is it?

The game takes place in an urban Japanese environment. Following Taiki, you'll explore his surroundings and talk with other residents of the city, all the while trying to make your way to his wife, Naomi.
Time will play a crucial role in the unfolding story, and you'll have to carefully prioritize how you interact with the world. Focusing on the main goal might be a sound idea, but exploration could yield satisfactory results as well...
While navigating through the city, the alien invaders will make themselves noticed. Avoid them at all costs, as they will not hesitate pursuing you to your death.

- Beautiful scenery contrasted by the aftermath of an alien invasion.
- Rich story conveyed through Taiki's inner monologues or dialogues with Taiki's fellow residents.
- Time is a resource - every significant interaction with the world will advance the clock, which will shape the story later on.
- Some humour sprinkled in as well. Even amidst an alien invasion, not everything has to be bleak.
- Did we mention time travel? We're not sure...we're not even sure how often we wrote this already...

Interesting little game. The story kinda reminds me of the movie "Edge of Tomorrow". It feels like a visual novel but with actual movement and a bit of sneaking/avoiding mechanics. There are a few problems I have with this game. They aren't deal breaking but are still kinda noticable and sometimes annoying: - When moving close to walls the movement sometimes randomly slows down and it feels like the pathfinding is trying to avoid something - The menus (especially the settings menu) still feel kinda unfinished. Everything works, but there are still default Unity graphics in there. - The audio balancing is kinda off. This is especially noticable with the car in the beginning - The writing feels awkward at some places, sometimes it feels like the main character is speaking with his mom instead of his wife. And also I highly doubht Husband and Wife would just shake hands like they dont really know each other when agreeing on what to do in the evening. Besides that it was fun to also get to know the other side characters. None of those are "essential" to the story, but they give the world some life. Also the story feels like it just stops right after the start and this is supposed…7 found this helpful
A pleasant and very atmospheric game) Its biggest drawback is its short duration. The story, although simple, is heartwarming. There are some graphical bugs (especially with vegetation), but the models themselves are good, as is the lighting along with a pleasant color scheme.5 found this helpful
Cool little game! I love the Japanese style and the enemy design. Only thing I missed was a UI close button for the inventory. And I had a bug once, where the enemies kept walking backwards.5 found this helpful
Great Game! Surprisingly immersive due to the great music and writing, sadly a little bit short.4 found this helpful
This game is literally incredible. All of the characters have so much heart put into them, even if they're just in the background. This game feels like it should be so much more popular than it actually is, and I really hope it gets big one day because its just that good.3 found this helpful
