大禹的父亲鲧因治水不利，被发配到了羽山。一向视父亲为英雄的少年大禹，突然得知父亲在羽山畏罪自杀的消息后，一度失去了信仰。为了查清父亲的真正死因，大禹克服了重重的困难，战胜了相柳、共工、无支祁、祝融等各种敌人。当然这一路上他也收获了爱情，先后遇到了温柔多情的女娇、高贵端庄的瑶姬、鬼马机灵的子夫。朋友也是必不可少的，陆吾、应龙、崇殃等朋友一路陪伴和相随 。
游戏中，不仅会对传统神话有高度的还原，还对部分神话人物给予了现代化的解读。
游戏中有三过家门而不入、共工祝融撞断不周山、涂山大会等桥段，同时也对传统神话中一些细节进行了更个人化的解读。比如，为何舜把鲧发配羽山，但还重用了鲧的儿子禹？又为何舜把自己的帝位禅让给了禹，而没有传给自己的亲人。更多故事和解读，都将随着大禹排除万险，步步为营的治水为大家在游戏中一一展现。
故事：耳熟能详中国经典山海经故事的全新热血演绎，环环相扣的推理。一段扣人心弦，关于成长、亲情、友情与爱情的感人故事。美术：独具风格的中国传统水墨风格，近50个角色登场共演，近百张CG铺陈。
玩法：丰富的通关玩法，包括疏通、灌溉、阻止火势、防止泄洪等。有三种以上的boss机制：地鼠、地震以及冰冻。在各种道具的帮助下，完成任务目标。
体验：过程中玩家根据自己的喜好进行选择，通过攻略不同伴侣，可以得到最后5种完全不同的结局。其中一种是三女主大团圆后宫剧情。
游戏中出场了近50个角色，并对大家耳熟能详的历史人物进行了现代化的艺术加工和演绎。
舜帝、三苗女帝、无支祁、化蛇、相柳、共工、祝融，一一出场
大禹在探究父亲死因的路上，一步步成为有崇部落首领、人皇、并最终战胜不可一视的神族，带领整个人族不认命、不妥协的抗衡！为整个人族带来了安定和希望。

The game is only in Chinese, so I watched a let's play to help learn the language. The story is interesting but may require a deeper understanding of Chinese mythology to fully get how well woven it is. The characters are all semi-mythical people taken from ancient history, and the story uses this to good effect. The cultural aspects are great for better understanding new languages. The primary game is a visual novel with puzzles segments. The water mechanic generally follows from the setting, but individual levels aren't particularly integrated with the plot. The art style is great, and the quality is consistent. The puzzles are easy but enjoyable. Both the novel and the puzzles can make for a pretty long game, well worth the price. There are multiple endings and each are quite long. I and the let's play I watched couldn't really tell if they were completely separate or were supposed to build on each other. It seems that going through all the endings reveal the hidden true story, which is sort of a mystery that each ending resolves, but then made open when compared the other endings.
