11/10 i became overpowered, music goes insane

Cramit's Keep is a very simple and easy to play roguelike with a surprising amount of content, enemies to fight, and abilities to use. Everything works well together, the art style is pleasant to look at and the UI is never confusing. Music is a bit repetitive but hasn't bothered me thus far. That being said, I don't think it quite holds up to what other roguelikes have to offer in terms of raw replayability which is a defining trait of the genre. Though the gameplay is fun, as a roguelike veteran it doesn't offer enough challenge or gameplay diversity to keep me engaged. I never felt the need to experiment or change up my playstyle as Cramit's core moveset is just effective enough to deal with most scenarios. After beating Archmage Cramit for the 5th time with the same build I'd been clearing rooms with an hour into my run, I started to get bored. Upgrades also don't change up gameplay enough for each run to feel different. Most are just stat upgrades or another method of dealing damage. This leads to most runs feeling the same. More randomness in terms of level design and enemy encounters would also be a welcome addition, as these start to get predictable fast. A content upd…

Nice small indie game i will like to see where the developers take it in the future. The bosses where loads of fun with plentiful of enemies.

Game looks good, some quality stuff from the designers. Definitely recommend as a fun quick rogue-like.

Cramit's Keep is a nice, light, easy to understand roguelike experience. If you enjoy the genre i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this game. For it's low cost you can easily have a fun time trying out the different build paths the game allows you to take. Going for a high number of level clears is also a lot of fun. Despite this games relative simplicity, it is clear that the developers put a lot of time and passion into this project. Can't wait to see what comes next from the devs.

I realise that I don't have a lot of time played, on Cramit's Keep - that being said, you don't need to have a lot to know that this game is well loved, thought through, and put together. It's an adorable little rouge-like that does the genre justice, the puzzles aren't mind numbing and easy but they also aren't pulling your hair out hard. Alongside the charming graphics, the soundtrack is just as pleasing. The controls and abilities are easy and quick to get a grasp on making game play fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something light and relaxing without losing any of the fun and strategy.
