BORE BLASTERS

I’m not really happy with this one – addictive in the first runs, but after a while it just gets boring and repetitive. Like by reaching 25-40% completion you have seen all and you have also received almost any necessary unlockable ability. Too many levels and those levels have the same concept over and over again. I will not talk about the quests as I think that the quest design is bad as well due to the concept of your tasks (collect these, get down, get up and get down again etc.). Some of the upgrades (those unlockable abilities) that you receive throughout your run are useless, like almost completely. Your build will be most likely the same throughout your game time. The playable characters are a joke too – as soon as I’ve received the 3rd unlockable “class”, I’ve only used him due his very strong and unique ability. There are some minor bugs like your gold gets stuck and sometimes the hitbox acts weird (you get hit or not). At least the bosses are fun, but the normal enemies are annoying and can shoot through walls. I’ve completed it and hoped it will get better, but sadly, most of my time is just rushing through the levels and that’s all of it.

The daily runs give my life meaning again.

Good game, and I might try and pick it back up some day, but Idk, for the time being I am stuck in the game and bored with it for now.

Either the trailers on the store page are misleading, or it takes a long time to actually get chaotic. 1 hour in for me, and I saw very very tiny hints of being a roguelite.

Fun digger with a good upgrade loop. Fuel is always an issue even into the + mode. If you like arcade diggers like Super Motherload. I think you will like this one.
