The game's mini-games are poorly designed and under-explained, with confusing mechanics like the item shop game requiring players to simultaneously monitor multiple elements and click small targets under time pressure, while the alchemy mini-game's steep difficulty curve makes it frustrating rather than fun—though the magic mini-game fares better in comparison.
