Turn into a kaiju as you destroy everything in your path in this fast-paced dice game! Roll the dice and find the best possible combinations to rule over Tokyo, whether you choose to heal yourself, attack, buy cards or win Victory Points.
Adapt your strategy to become the King of Tokyo at the right moment and attack all your opponents at the same time.
The first player to reach 20 Victory Points wins the game... and so does the last player to stay alive!
Build your strategy
Roll the dice and choose wisely which ones to keep. Whether you decide to keep your dice or reroll, each decision is crucial to your winning strategy. Turn into a glass canon with powerful cards to reduce your opponents' hit points to 0, play it safe and quickly collect Victory Points, or build up health to become a tank: the choice is yours.

This mainly feels too overpriced for what it is. With a price tag like that, you'd expect this to be some kind of ultimate compilation of the "King of" series with all the versions, expansions, variants and so on. Works fine for me, plays just like I remember playing the boardgame, and I'm enjoying the couch coop with the family. I really hope they add evolution dlc, and I would also look forward to online multiplayer. Purchased on sale.1 found this helpful
Rating: 9/10 giant monsters 🦖🎲 King of Tokyo is the kind of board game that says, "Become the most powerful monster in the world," and then immediately teaches you that giant radioactive lizards apparently have the same decision-making skills as someone playing Yahtzee after three cups of coffee. Roll dice. Cause destruction. Question every life choice when your friends all decide you look like the easiest target. Gameplay The premise is beautifully simple. Choose a giant monster, roll six dice, and decide whether you're attacking your opponents, healing yourself, earning victory points, or collecting energy to buy increasingly ridiculous power cards. It's incredibly easy to learn. Which makes it all the more surprising when your perfectly calculated strategy is obliterated because someone rolled four claws and suddenly everyone is taking damage. The heart of the game is Tokyo itself. Holding Tokyo earns you victory points every turn and lets you damage every monster outside the city whenever you attack. Sounds fantastic... ...until you realize every other player now has exactly one goal: Get you out of Tokyo. Preferably by force. The pus…
The reviews that are bashing this one ... all I can assume is you don't a decent enough PC nor a steam deck because it runs awesome on both. I really enjoy the graphics . Hope they add more DLC for the other characters and cards.
9/10 very nice pls note that YOU CAN PLAY ONLINE, just go in steam friends and use the option "invite someone to play"
