Poly Party

This game's controls are awful and ruin the experience. It's not well designed, and is not worth playing.

I played this game when it FIRST came out on Xbox. I've always loved Daniel Hood and his wacky games, this is what got me into playing them. I am glad I could experience the fun of poly part because I wouldn't have played his other games.. One thing that sucks about this title though, is its controller play only, you can only start the game with a controller and that's it. But, on the other hand it makes the game more unique in a way- I don't know, I just love Daniel.

It combines my two favorite types of games: Driving and board games. 10/10

Poly Party is an extremely badly made console ported minimalist low poly GTA ripoff (but nobody can actually get the cars to work, so it's a walking sim). It's extremely badly optimised, and you just walk around a badly done low poly "city"... and I guess at least we can be fairly confident this isn't an asset flip, because the game assets are terrible. Movement is sluggish, too, to the point it's annoying even trying to play this garbage. The most amazing thing about this game is that it appeared on both Microsoft and Sony consoles, so I guess it must have been tequila day for both companies when they let this one slip through, because the quality here is absolute zero. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
