About Ring the City

"Ring The City" shows a story of an unknown town named Krana. A Dungeon appeared out of nowhere. The rings found in the dungeon gives the wearer the power to control elements and living things.

Adventurers accompanying pets, the influx of animals, the burrowing creatures of the caves, and the underground unknowns also pick up the rings, gaining great strength and wisdom, hindering and slaughtering the adventurers.

Greed leads them to keep digging down. What is the truth? What awaits us at the bottom?

The game is heavily populated with battles between the "ring users":
Battle between "ring users" will be "hand-to-hand". Once player had decided a move in a round, enemy will make his move in the same time.
To guess and try to counter enemy's attack is the core idea of the battle.

It had a lot of potential but, as far as I can tell, as of July 2021, there hasn't been any development on this game since some time in 2019.

Dev gave up on the game

Really cool concept with poor execution. Even besides some questionable design and AI, the mechanics aren't really explained well outside of the basics. I lost a boss fight because of a timeout, even though I was never told that timeouts exist or when they happen. There are repetitive fights with the same enemies who have the same gear, and a single repetitive fight theme. The UI is also awkwardly slow. Contrary to what the developer says in their "Why Early Access?" comment, I think the game's core features still need a lot of work. It's possible to make this into a really cool game, but it would require a lot more work from the developers who seem to have abandoned it after 2019, with no new updates since.

A wise woman once said "If you liked it, then you shoulda put a ring on it" ... and so I did. Good game, gotta HAND it to the devs. Two THUMBS up!

Although the concept for a rouge dungeon crawler is unusual, it has a good base behind it. However, the mechanics behind this game for ring deposits after a successful win is severly punishing. The lack of inventory space and the RNG in this game is in complete favor of the AI. Not to mention the AI elite plays make it even more difficult for you to learn the mechanics of the game. Sure each opponent may be able to be beaten with the perfect set up, but getting to that point is a major grind that doesn't allow for error, because upon death you start the dungeon completely over with the same items you started with. Play for hours just to be completely reset back to where you were. This game needs a ton of work, and i doubt that any support in the future will come of it.
