CodeWalkers

Remember the old days playing on your Digimon at school, well this game reminds me of that.. but on my PC playing over the net with friends. I have it on in the background as I'm working or playing other games. I'm really enjoying it and look forward to updates the Dev's are working on.

Simple, yet requires a lot of strategy to set up character builds. Fun to play and break. Remember O' Developer, the Beta Champion will one day beat you. Also, I would recommend buying 11/10.

CodeWalkers is quite simple, but also very fun. It's basically a mix of '90s virtual pets, like Tamagotchi and Digimon, and MegaMan Battle Network. In CodeWalkers, you raise a digital being called a CodeWalker in order to battle others around the world. There is also an AI battle mode, which lets you battle your CodeWalker against a computer-controlled opponent. This mode is also how you obtain customization chips, which allow you to modify your CodeWalker's stats and teach it new abilities. The graphics in CodeWalkers are quite charming, and remind me of GBA games from the early 2000s. The battle system is also very fun, and thanks to the customization system, allows for multiple ways to go about battle. Overall, CodeWalkers is very fun, though the AI battle mode isn't nearly as fleshed out as it could be, and a few attacks are near-impossible to dodge. Luckily, these issues are small and can be fixed through updates, but as of now, I'll have to give CodeWalkers a 9/10.
