Martin Goes On The Attack is yet another asset flip/construction kit flip from serial shovelware copy+paste "artists", Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software. These guys do nothing but rip off asset store assets and game tutorials and templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Today's "effort" from these guys is Martin Goes On The Attack, and it's a garbage 2D retro shooter/platformer slapped together with the godawful Cocos Creator game development engine, presumably a copy+paste from someone else's actual work developing a game. Game doesnt tell you that the shoot button is CTRL. Wtf. Copycat of other games from the same dev/Publisher. Dont friggin bother. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)
This game suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Trying to implement Rotatex mechanics and Rotatex lag into a platforming shooter just does not work.
A game with an original idea of changing gravity and reducing the character.
