RaceLeague

Game hasnt received updates in many moons, maybe he is communicating elsewhere but there has been no communications or updates in over a year. At this point i think the game is dead. If you can get it cheap its a pretty fun game to derp around in, but i wouldnt expect anything new or polished at this point.

The idea is good but the implementation is terrible. The track builder is buggy and slow in almost every way. The game crashes mid track build and any progress is lost unless saved. I don't think its receiving updates any more and I think the dev has given up on it. Don't bother unless a new update comes out to fix all of the issues.

There are two words I can use to describe RaceLeague. Raw Potential. Unfortunately it looks abandoned at this point but what is there shows so much promise (the damage model, track editor etc). The performance can be choppy even on my 4070ti super but you can play it on most windows handhelds. Just don't expect consistent performance. The lap counter is always stuck at 9999, meaning races are impossible and the AI fully depends on how the person building the track has implemented it. But there are a few hundred pages of custom tracks to drive, with naturally varying degrees in creator quality. I like to think of it as an arcadey hot lap game in its current state. I will give it a positive review on the basis that it may one day be finished and optimised.

Awesome, but for now there are no purpose to play this: 1. AI pretty much just drives in given trajectory givin no race 2. Obviously there are no players to play online Game to be playable desperately needs good AI that fun to race and mb some other "hooks" to stand for otherwise as it stands it's just awesome, really awesome(love it) blank for future. Hope the dev hears me out, wishing great creative success to him(them)!
