Galaxy Pass Station

I was recommended this game when I asked for something similar to Papers Please, and on the surface they do have a lot in common. The gameplay is there: you check IDs, you decide what bribes to take, you choose who passes and who doesn't. But there's barely a story, zero charm, and absolutely no soul. The little dialogue that exists is entirely random. None of the choices I made seemed to matter, so it felt like there were no stakes. You build the biggest space station and automate it.

I really wish devs trying to ship a game to a different market actually take translation seriously. This kind of laziness is utterly unnacceptable given the AI translation technologies available to literally everyone these days.

It’s okay, but I’m on legion go s ( steam deck basically) and controls are a bit weird. Game sometimes freezes or crashes. Definitely something to be mindful off.

I love this game a lot. A lot of people are saying it's hard to get into or is daunting, but I play a LOT of resource management/colony games and this was pretty easy to figure out. In fact in comparison to other games in the genre particularly Oxygen Not Inlcuded, it feels really simplified to a good amount. Not too simple. not too complicated My only gripe, though. Is that after a few hours of gameplay, I've pretty much unlocked everything and there's not much left to do and I don't think the devs are going to come up with new storylines in the near future... STILL LOVED IT THOUGH and had a great time!

Cannot arrest after rejecting visa and cannot back out from inspecting documents. Very bad elemental design choice
