This game is fun

good, missing some graphics, and the movment sytsem is a little janky

pretty mid game, at the start it's nice, but gets boring

I don't know what it is but the game just isnt grabbing me. on the surface it seems really interesting and cool but in practice it feels like its actually very cumbersome to expand and power your factory. I suppose I attribute a lot of that to having core construction pieces further down the tech tree than they should be an even just simple tiles requiring more steps and materials than they should. It doesn't help either that solar power is deep deep in the tech tree for reasons I can't understand and wires are physical blocks rather than just being.. wires. It just adds a little bit too much friction which while not major in and of itself compounds the more and more you need to do to expand.

I played this years ago when it was in EA. And I enjoyed it but I could tell that it needed a little more time. When it hit 1.0, I tried it again. I pretty much forgot everything and started from scratch. However, I can't even get started. The tutorial bot is telling me to interact with it by left-clicking. I'm doing exactly that and pressing the typical interact keys like E and F and still nothing. Suddenly when I open my inventory and select the Oxygen tool, the bot advances. I don't if it's a scripting issue but I'm pretty sure that's not how it's supposed to work. This has pretty much sour my second first impression; can't get the tutorial right... I'll try again next year or something but this was not fun.

I'll be honest, I really liked this game once. Back then, the systems were good, and the only real challenge was upgrading stations to better tiers. But after the 1.0 update, everything just collapsed for me. Stations can now only craft a limited amount of items, the new Oxygen Hub just flat out sucks with the need for excessive power (which odds are likely not going to be possible until you get Solar Panels unlocked), and the Human Laboratory has the same issue it turns out. If these systems aren't changed, I can not recommend this game at all.
