Morsels

The game is good, but I really don't apprecite the enigmatic item descriptions.

I should have just bought Atomicrops again. I was excited for Morsels! The art style was what drew me in. It's SO GOOD. Maybe TOO good. Everything's so incredibly charming, lively, random, and unique that it just kinda becomes overwhelmingly bland. If everything is unique and bouncy and weird and strange, then nothing is. I should have been able to tell this from the trailer, but the levels are very "videogamey" and just felt like a bunch of "hazard area 001" mixed with "room_layout_23 with enemy X, Y, and Z" rather than a living and breathing world which I expected from such strong character designs. The cute lil creatures I adored in the trailer kinda lost all appeal since they're so disposable in the game. I thought they'd have a bit more of hero-quality that made me feel connected with the silly lil buttheads during each run. Everything's just a bit too loose and squishy for me, including the UI and how gameplay elements get introduced with very little context. I didn't have the patience to sit through the mystery of what each icon means... c'mon where's my tooltips during my first-ever decision in this game I have never played before??? This game has some of the gloinkiest and gloopiest little guys I've ever seen

Fun game. A little disappointed the studio was funded by a production company involved in indie plants, but this one seems genuine.

Very fun game can dum hrs into very fantastic good fun

The game doesn't really explain anything once you even get to play (between the Unity crashes). Not worth $15 with the current state it's in 10 months after release. I'd skip this one for now. There are reasons why less than 25% of owners have 2+ achievements in this game.
