Parasite Black

This artstyle is so clean. I wasn't sure about the leveling system at first and got kind of confused by how xp works, but once it clicked, the game totally hooked me. The dark fantasy vibe is unmatched and the story keeps you super invested. Seriously impressed by how much depth and lore packed into this early access. The pacing of the quests is super solid and the character progression feels genuinely rewarding once you get the hang of it.

The writing and humor in this are surprisingly top tier, plus the tactical combat makes every single encounter actually fun. If you want a proper adventure with a great atmosphere, this is an absolute must-play.

This is miles ahead of typical adult visual novels because it actually has deep RPG mechanics and a genuinely cool open world to explore. The art style is gorgeous and there is so much content to get lost in.

The world-building and dark fantasy mood had me hooked from the very first hour. It feels like an actual game with real choices and consequences instead of just a generic clicker.

The game was good until the devs decided to put a lvl 20 boss in a lvl 9 quest and unless you leveled up stun or taunt skills you basically cant defeat him because he instantly kills your characters and heals up to 1200 hp in a single turn. Even if you defeat him you still lose, if losing was the point then ♥♥♥♥ off and when he party-wipes you continue the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story. You understand how strong he is by having him instantly kill you characters despite being over leveled for "recommended" level of the quest which was 9 and all my characters were level 11.
