About Echo Factory
RESTORE THE RHYTHM OF THE UNIVERSE In a world that has fallen into absolute silence, you are the spark. Echo Factory is a minimalist, audio-visual incremental game where your goal is to rebuild the audio spectrum from scratch.Start by generating simple waves. (Accessibility Update: No mouse clicking required—press ANY key on your keyboard to produce Echoes!) As your resources accumulate, you will construct a massive factory of sound, turning a quiet void into a symphony of neon lights and frequencies.AUTOMATE & MAINTAIN THE SYMPHONY Why click when you can engineer? Unlock and build advanced machines like Resonators, Amplifiers, and Harmonizers. But beware: machines degrade.Introducing the System Diagnostics layer:
- Active Maintenance: Corrupted sectors will drop your efficiency. Extract them into your buffer and patch the system.
- High Risk, High Reward: Fill your buffer and trigger OVERCLOCK to double your production—but prepare for a massive wave of system errors!
- Hire Engineers: Automate the repair process with dedicated engineers and upgrade your Firewalls and Shields to protect your factory.
- Frequency Tree: Customize your playstyle in a massive, branching skill tree. Will you focus on active power, passive automation, or offline efficiency?
- Synergy Upgrades: Don't just upgrade everything blindly. Combine specific machines to unlock powerful synergy multipliers.
- Rebuild The Core (Prestige): When progress slows down, trigger a cosmic reset. You will lose your machines but gain Frequency Memory—a permanent currency that allows you to push further and faster in the next cycle.
- Satisfying Gameplay: Experience the dopamine rush with rhythmic visual feedback, floating texts, and screen-shaking particle bursts.
- Neon Synthwave Aesthetic: A vibrant visual style accompanied by a soundtrack that builds up layer by layer as you unlock new technologies.
- Offline Progress: Your factory never sleeps. Earn Echoes even when you are away.
- Infinite Scalability: From thousands to quintillions—push the limits of mathematics.
Your average clicker you can find on crazygames or alike
It's that kind. Where clicks are the king and passive generation never catches up and upgrading it feels like a red herring, with only thing they're useful for being "unlock x2 click power upgrade". Only "saving" grace is occasional powerup which temporarily improves your click income by 777 TIMES, it has 1/4 chance (since there's 3 other PUps) and 15 minute cooldown to show up again. Prestige doesnt have any upgrade to reduce the delay and its going to be the main thing to progress. Its boring to wait for one thing to progress for 15-60 minutes (depending on your luck could be even longer). Then there are few issues if this game was meant to be "relaxing":

Buying anything has a "pop SFX" delay.
Music gets muted if you click too fast (you can click with keyboard taps), solved by making music louder than SFX in settings.
Upon activating overclock, generators epileptically blink in the center of the screen. I know game said "go away if you're photosensitive", but this looks more like a bug than a feature. Great cyberpunk vibes and super addictive! Pros: The dynamic music system is amazing, the tracks evolving as you play makes it feel so rewarding The diagnostics panel keeps you engaged the whole time Visuals and the UI is really smooth Keyboard support is a lifesaver Really solid incremental game. Haven’t even reached the late game yet, but for this price, it’s easily a 10/10.1 found this helpful
A surprisingly intense game. Lots of improvements since the demo at Next Fest. A large variety of music to listen to. A lot more interesting mechanics that has the game bounce between an idle (watch numbers go up) to an active gameplay system. Worth taking a look!1 found this helpful
Really enjoying this so far. The vibe is certainly there and the cyberpunk aesthetic is super polished for an indie title. It is a solid incremental game where you actually have to pay attention because of the diagnostics system. The best part is the soundtrack evolving and getting fuller as you progress through the factory. Great work to the dev for only 4 bucks.
