CAPTAIN TSUBASA 2: WORLD FIGHTERS

This is my first-ever review on Steam, and I’m writing it because I really love Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions and genuinely want this sequel to succeed. Things I Like The new goalie mechanic is really neat. It adds another layer to the gameplay and, in my opinion, makes the game much better than simply taking constant shots to wear down the goalkeeper. Miracle Actions are awesome! They feel exciting and really capture the spirit of Captain Tsubasa. The soundtrack is epic and always gets me hyped. There are also a lot of teams to choose from, which gives the game plenty of variety. Overall, the gameplay is fun and has a lot of potential. Things That Could Be Improved I think they went a little overboard with all the lighting effects, sparks, and visual effects. Sometimes, simpler is better. Not every action needs a big animation or visual effect. I think Rise of New Champions actually had a good balance in this regard. Its animations felt impactful because they weren’t happening constantly, which made the big moments stand out more. One of the coolest things about Rise of New Champions is being able to watch a character perform an amazing dribble or see a goalkeepe…

Lack of contents and replayability, in the first game RoNC I have over 600hrs playtime (mostly offline) but after finished this game I dont have anything to do except the online PvP (which is also took long time to find match and the lagging is the worst). The long playing time is only because of the events and cutscenes, even the loading screen is took way too long and too often. the mechanics are worse than the first game, not worth the price.

This game should be a crime. The price isn't worth it. They cut out at least 60% of the first game and sell you that at a price higher than the first one. Bad enough that the first one had horrible AI that you had to fight against (In your own team) but now you got to fight not only bad AI but cheating AI who read your prompt and just do everything to counter you right away that the game devolve into fighting to get the ball back instead of trying to score a goal. And online is just pointless at all. You can't even make Exp against AI matches unless its story, which is endless text for barely any gameplay.

Story kinda short wish for more matches but gameplay is good and i enjoyed my cusyom character a lot. i also want to equip more unipe moves to really make my avatar more better

good story however extremely poor player controls. Very annoying to keep trying to drive the ball before collapsing to the floor in seconds! No control over the player to have advantage to the other players, very poor game mechanics just like the previous game! I would expect improvements over the first game which was released years ago! No game mechanics improvements at all!
