To start I don't really like playing or watching sports and least of all playing sports videogames. To go further I think soccer is an incredibly lame sport. However I do like sports adjacent anime. This game is not FIFA, it's a unique JRPG with a sometimes wonky localization. It has an endearing story and if you like the tropes that come with sports anime this game is something you will love. I can see where gameplay could get tedious or repetitive but, I don't plan on putting 100s of hours in. This game comes with a terrible English dub, watch the trailer, its the stuff of nightmares. Thankfully you can have Japanese names and audio. I wish there was a similar toggle for changing football to soccer.1 found this helpful
