5/10. I am both impressed and very disappointed with this game. I love the characters, the art, the folklore. It is extremely short, but I can tell a lot of care went into the game. Unfortunately, this is a game is such a let down. I was hooked, thinking that my choices mattered and had an impact on the other characters and the outcome of the game, just for nothing to really matter. I am not sure if that was the point, but I literally said "That's it..?" All in all, I would recommend this game for the Caribbean lore and the art is amazing. Just don't expect much.

A short game that showcases a culture that I'm not familiar with but am happy to learn about. Recommended and it's at a good price

The characters are written well and the story has a nice twist at the end. I really enjoed the caribbean inspired characters and wording.

A great but short (~ 60 min.) visual novel game. Unfortunately, there are no deductions to make or puzzles to solve, so it's not quite what you'd expect from a detective game. I like that it's divided into individual chapters that can be replayed individually.

Really cute and short. Perfect little leap into a non-western mythical canon that you can easily finish in an hour or so. The game plays with your expectations a bit, which was fun. I also just read up on the characters and their respective archetypes online during and after playing. Great art style, hope the studio expands their portfolio in this direction!

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love the artwork and writing XD lol idk if it's cuz the story just HAPPENED to tap into my childhood memories, but I found myself singing sly mongoose to myself then I realized oh! that's THE Sly mongoose, and the rolling calf and Mammy Wata designs. I completed ep 1 and 2 so that's a good sign. I tend not to play detective puzzle games but I do enjoy the writing so I'll go back and hopefully even beat it. Who is this game for? I say people who want a short interactive story. Go in for the story and dialog if you enjoy that. It's also unapologetically for Jamaicans and Caribbean people so many references may go over people's head. I say it's also if you just want to waste a little time in a fun not too serious story. Give it a try so we can have more games from the Caribbean.
