About Rosalie

Embark on a quirky road trip as a tourist in a two-seater pedal car! Traverse diverse landscapes where you’ll find yourself taking all the wrong paths. Explore your surroundings and take photos along the path. Solo or as a pair, will you reach the journey's end... or will you roll back down a hill, questioning the very meaning of life?Communication is key! Each player can only pull the steering lever on their side.
Stronger together. Pedaling and braking is more effective when both pilots are coordinated.
When things get frantic, don't panic. Trying to pull the handbrake or reverse at the same time can lead to disaster!

You steer left, I steer right, what could possibly go wrong? Everything. From mistimed turns to frantic braking, the road to the finish line is paved with hysterical arguments and near-misses. When you are not in sync and your sense of direction fails, your peaceful seaside stroll quickly turns into complete disaster.
While this journey is designed for two, you can absolutely take on the road alone. In solo mode, you’ll have full control of the steering and be the only captain on board... but that also means you’ve only got yourself to blame when things go sideways! Can't reach the finish line? Don't worry about it. Stop the quadricycle, take a deep breath, and admire the landscape. The journey might be a catastrophe, but at least the postcard will look great.

Only if you hate yourself, it's absolutely awesome but absolutely horribly difficult. Over 10 hours in (which is long) we gave up halfway between the last and second to last checkpoint. The frustration wasn't worth it.

So after more than 10 hours on our trip Gerald and I were discussing our divorce. After being married for over 50 years this was not an easy decision but this game showed us that we work better on our own.

Really fun playing with a friend. Hopefully you stay friends with them after playing this game together. My only complaint right now is there's not much content to keep playing, though the devs say they are working on that.

Very fun game overall! Physics can be a bit unpredictable at times but that is very manageable in almost all sections

The game tries to replicate the spirit of a "Getting Over It" type of game, but falls short by not being predictable in its physics behaviour. Leading to the wrong kind of frustration. I can not recommend it in its current state. Here are some of the glaring issues we experienced during the first half of the game: - Highway guardrails clipping on the Rosalie, causing you to spin out. These things are meant to keep you on the road... - Wheels clipping through various surfaces, which causes the Rosalie to derail or get stuck. - Planks and or other traversal objects being way too narrow for their surroundings, e.g. a tiny set of planks on a rocky mountain with bumps that inconsistently clip your wheels on the planks and/or cause them to shift unpredictably. We often felt like just dragging the rosalie with our characters, as it was at least somewhat predictable, which is just plain boring.
