Moon Mystery

I wanted to like this a lot more than I did, because the initial premise was genuinely intriguing, but seems to be discarded pretty early and then just becomes a case of go places because... <shrug>. The gameplay experience is mainly explore, occasionally shoot some robots and deal with some at times frustrating puzzles and possibly the worst vehicle sections in any game I've played. There's some limited value in exploring - cash is functionally useless as the only thing you can spend it on is weapons, and the choice is pretty poor so you'll probably just stick with the same thing for most of the game - and the skill system feels pretty lacklustre (and none of the abilities last anywhere near long enough to actually be useful). It really is a shame, because this could've been a little gem, but it's fairly mediocre with a disappointing payoff.

Moon Mystery is what happens when a few Interstellar fans decide to make a video game. You spend maybe ten, fifteen minutes actually on the moon before you're bouncing between dimensions shutting down these massive pillars, and the game never bothers explaining why. Who's this guy, why is he sick, what do the crystals do, how do we even know this is a robot breeding ground. Zero context, all the time. I get that it's a mystery and mysteries reveal things slowly, but there's a difference between "slowly revealed" and "never actually explained." Why should I give a ♥♥♥♥ about any of these people? The game doesn't say. The bones of the story are just Interstellar. Guy goes through a wormhole, has to save the world. Except somebody also decided to bolt on guns and an alien robot race and blue glowing stuff, so many different aspects of video game genres that don't have any business being stitched together, and it never once explains why any of it is happening. It felt like someone grabbed their favorite parts from five different games and movies and hoped they'd fuse into something coherent. They didn't. The bigger sin is the environment. They build these grand, sprawling fight arena…

Glitchy Mc. Glitch

Beatiful environments, a good mix of shooter, exploration (in a limited area), puzzles. The voice acting is nice and immersive.

Cool game for what its worth. Was alot longer than I thought it would be. Great Starter
