Dreamed Away is a story-driven action-adventure RPG with dark elements set in France in the 90s. Play as Théo, a boy lost in a mysterious world. Explore a unique reality, duel against darkness and mind your choices.

Instead of the traditional menu-based combat commonly found in RPGs, Dreamed Away features a unique, fast-paced combat system made of mini-games.

Story
On a rainy summer night, Théo wakes up in his bedroom and realizes his parents and his sister Louise have disappeared. The true nature of the world lays itself bare. Ghosts, Phantoms and Revenants haunt Théo inside the catacombs and dark places where he searches for his sister. Always a step behind and never able to catch up.
What happened? What does it mean? Why is this place so familiar?
That's how his journey begins.

In the relatively short time I had to play this game, it did nothing short of blow me away. The art, the atmosphere, the sound design, and especially the writing were all absolutely stellar. This game is gorgeous, I love the animations. The combat is great. I'm a total wuss when it comes to "spooky" games, and this game has plenty of atmosphere, the developers did such a good job with it. I highly recommend this game, even if you are a little bit of a wuss like me. It captures a feel of nostalgia, but feels fresh and beautifully done. I've still not finished yet, but I think it's quite the adventure. The combat can be a little frustrating but it is a case of "get good" or die trying...1 found this helpful
I was one of the Kickstarter Backers for this game and I had a good time with it! The ending was very intriguing! I enjoyed the vibe/lore of the world, the gameplay, and the horror elements (nothing crazy I would say, mostly just unsettling for those wondering!) The pacing could be a bit slow at times. There are also multiple endings, and I got ending 3 which was cool. The game didn't completely end up being mind-blowing experience for me, but overall I had fun time with it!1 found this helpful
