Ben 10: Power Trip

Ben 10 Zelda sounds hella fun but... This game is just as bland and soulless as the Ben 10 reboot itself. The character dynamics, chemistry, and relationships have been completely butchered and flushed down the toilet. Gwen and Ben talk to each other like they’re absolute besties, which was NEVER canon. Everything is so watered-down, childish, and family-friendly that it genuinely makes me want to throw up. It pales so hard in comparison to the original 2005 series... The gameplay isn't the absolute worst, but it's pretty damn repetitive and dull. I completed all the side quests, including a LITERAL "rescue the runaway kitten" missions an absolute slap in the face to anyone older than 4 years old. Aside from a couple of unique gimmicks, all the aliens feel practically identical in combat, which completely kills the fun. The game itself feels cheap, lazy, and barely playtested given the number of bugs. On top of that, character progression feels completely meaningless. I dumped all my points into damage stats for the entire game, and I literally felt zero difference enemies were dying at the exact same pace from start to finish. Meanwhile, I didn't upgrade my health at all and onl…

I love the older ben 10 games this wasn't the best one of them especially since this is the reboot but i played with my friend and it was a blast. Note from a friend: SKIFTERRAAAAA!!!

Really cool concept with no love. Tons of mechanical and quality of life issues while also looking very dull. Many collectables and missions do not show on the map making it incredibly difficult to find. Having to hold the run button for XLR8 is a huge pain as opposed to toggle. The mini map didn't show anything except for my player icon in the last third of the game. Missing 2 upgrades in an area, bought one of 4 from the store and now I'm missing 1... but there are three left in the shop so am I missing two more in that area still or are there two few slots including the store. No waypoints. Having to run to a place to then be bale to fast travel negates the point half the time. If you don't get luck early enough in the game you have to do super annoying money grinds. There are more upgrades then listed in every city. Getting 20 money for silver coins, 50-100 for beating missions is wayyy too insignificant and a let down rather then a reward. Not being able to replace ben in the favorites slot makes no sense. This is just what I can remember of my issues. Found that my inventory is glitching and wont show me the bars to eat unless i reload it over and over or use one that is show…
