About Night Loops

A story about finding the “psychic somewhere.” Numb, floating in a day-to-day nowhere, each night bleeds the same but different. It is said here, that through The Path, an inner world can be rebuilt and your ownership returned. Yes, this is a psychological-horror adventure game…but it’s one like you’ve never seen before.
 • Endless mansion forever stuck in a time loop that resets before dawn.
 • Intricate puzzles tied directly to the guests of the Seaside Hotel.
 • Managing psychic masks and juggling powers of their original owners.
 • Investigating endless dreamscapes to find out the truth(s) about the hotel and its owner.
 • Branching stories and endings.
 • Original gloomy soundtrack by s3-z.
…of letters and transcripts…

Dear ███████,
We are delighted to inform you that your application for attendant here at the Seaside Hotel has been accepted. We pride ourselves on delivering the finest service to our guests, so that they may find – what is of utmost importance – peace. A guest is a guest afterall.
Now allow me to address your concerns set forth in our previous correspondence. Of course I understand why you would █████████████████████████. I believe the best prescription for you at this moment though is time. At the Seaside, your mind will be allowed to rest, dear.

We look forward to meeting you.

With sincere regard,

██████
Owner & Proprietor

A neat little psychological trip inside a creepy seaside hotel. The gameplay relies on looping through your night shift, solving light puzzles, and swapping out weird masks that change how you interact with the environment. It has a fantastic, unsettling vibe, but it can feel a bit aimless and repetitive as you try to figure out what the game actually wants you to do. Worth a look if you like surreal walking sims, just don't expect complex puzzle design.

Night Loops approaches horror in a way that feels more interested in disturbing the mind than creating constant panic. Instead of relying heavily on jump scares, aggressive monsters, or endless chase sequences, the game builds discomfort through atmosphere and uncertainty. It slowly creates the sensation that reality itself has become unreliable. The result is an experience that feels less like surviving a haunted location and more like becoming trapped inside an unstable dream where memories, emotions, and reality are gradually losing their boundaries. The game's central premise immediately creates intrigue. Taking place within the Seaside Hotel, players find themselves trapped in a recurring stretch of time where the final hour before dawn endlessly repeats itself. Time loop stories often create familiarity through repetition because players learn routines and gain control over situations. Night Loops uses repetition differently. Instead of creating comfort, each repeated cycle introduces new details and raises new questions. Familiar places begin to feel strange, ordinary moments become unsettling, and the routine itself slowly transforms into a source of anxiety. The hotel se…

A magnificent hommage to Majora's Mask, beautifully serving some new and original matter. It's a story about fear and hope.

"the sealing has commenced" 🖤🖤🖤 🟩 nice aesthetic 🔷 timeloops 🔴 bit insubstantial vibes: melancholic loops: explore, solve puzzles, get masks that give different abilities to help occasionally states: finished all endings ramblings: this game has a bit of unstructured exploration in surreal ethereal dream vibe environments yes, but mostly it's a kinda linear experience solving tasks and progressing the game's primary puzzle and story. i don't know how to feel about this game. it has a really strong style, the production quality is nice, good looking art and design. but, everything felt like it was just, not that interesting? like there's characters and story, exploration and puzzles, but it all feels kind of undeveloped in any particular direction. just a brief touch of something that ends up not feeling like much. verdicts: mixed. i'm being real wishy-washy here, i love the aesthetic and style, but otherwise this just felt sort of hollow to me.
